I landed back to back toeside 5s for the first time. Starting to get those things solid. Pretty pumped about it.
Working on getting my toeside backroll back, then on to the OA5, Ole 5, and whirly. Would be nice to get all of those this season.
Makes a huge difference riding twice a week instead of twice a month. Having my own boat has been awesome.

Just got started last night. Got out there and rode around a bit doing 1-wake jumps and making sure my knee felt ok. I did a couple w2w's and it was ok...hurts a bit. I may focus more on switch riding and getting more comfortable with TS jumps this year. I noticed a 1-wake TS doesn't really bother the knee since I'm landing a little heavy on the back foot (uninjured leg). _________________ If love is blind, why is lingerie so popular? |

Nice, what happened with your knee? Usually landing on the downside of the wake is the easiest on the knees. What board are you riding? I am all about soft landing boards. With a flex board like a slingshot, if you put the tail down first it's super soft. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

I have gone out on the boat 3 times this year so far I am working on 3 inverts so far can land on the board but cannot ride away actually the same problem I have had for 5 years. Actually I am going to Sasser Wakeboard school on Friday in your neck of the woods to work it out. _________________ There'll be two dates on your tombstone/ And all your friends will read 'em/ But all that's gonna matter is that little dash between 'em... |

Wakebrad, Unfortunately it's been a slow-going year for my wakeboarding. Only have been out to the cable 4 times this year. I've got packed weekends from now until the end of June but hopefully July-the rest of the season I'll be riding again.
I was getting close on a crow mobe at the end of last year so hoping to stick that this year. I also need to work on my spins a lot since I'm terrible at them so TS & HS 5's off of kickers might be on the to-do list. |

Yeah, was a tough deal. Surgery with plate and screws and lots of time and PT to get back to "normal". The photo is pretty cool...3D reconstruction from a CT. _________________ If love is blind, why is lingerie so popular? |

FunkyBunch, nice man. What boat were you on out there? For the most part we shared the lines well. Gene was killing it. He hit ts5, switch ts5 back to back.
GnarShredd, the falls on those crow mobes are bad. I've never tried but a friend took some bad ones. It seems so do-able if you have a big laid-out crow though. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

Brad
My boat "black and orange supra" I was with Jarrod. We tried to stay out of the way by the time you guys got there. I knew I saw Gene when I was about to load the boat, Jarrod kept saying it was you instead.
The gray and Orange Tige I think is Pierce from DWB. I have no clue who the Malibu was that sent the rollers down the line is. Stop and say hello I will be in the cove a lot this summer. |

Yeah, gene's the guy with the knee braces. I ollied that tall buoy over there too, about 3.5 ft. Clipped the top and knocked off a chunk haha. Love that stuff.
Yeah man will do. What's your name? I keep mine at 121 so we're out in stewarts fairly regularly. Going out tonight but looking like E winds so will be probably riding north of the island. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

I've been riding harder than ever this season. Taking my first week off for a shoulder sprain and finals work at the moment. I've been thinking about trying yoga or working with someplace like Sport Specific because I've been dealing with a little too much knee and shoulder pain recently.
This is my first year competing in the advanced division on the Gravel Tour, and man, is it stacked! There are like 15 of us and we're all ripping. Those guys really stuck it to me at the first stop! I had the run of my life and still only got 12th out of 15 for 0 points. Second stop went better. I choked and fell on my first trick, but I battled back to finish 8th for 4 points. Next goal is to crack the top 5!
I'm learning tricks at a breakneck pace, but I haven't really had time to get them as consistent as I need to for the tour. I'm hoping to master the heel 5 and the back 3 by the next stop so I can do 3 540s in my run.
I'm also working on raleys. I've got a great air raley and krypt at the cable, but they're really giving me problems off the wake/kicker. I want a Hoochie krypt!
Basically, I'm just trying to do better and better at each tour stop and max out my style before August, when I'll be shooting my first demo for surf expo. I want to look good! _________________ rally to the wake |

| Good to hear everyone is having a great season! Keep up the sick work. I just moved to another state, and havent found a crew yet. But im hoping to land a backroll or tantrum this year if i get out there. I have been out once and its killing me. I did get a job today so my goal is to have a boat by this time next year. |

Brad name is Mark. Rode tonight at SS with Jarod and when I got in the boat low and behold Richard took 2 very nice sets with us. Look forward to seeing you some this summer I will be watching for the ts backrolls and some whirlys.
I am finally starting to get some pop now just need to get it consistent so I add some edge to it coming in. |

Nice thread!
I'm having a pretty good year so far. Finally being pushed out of my comfort zone cause the level of riding in Costa Rica is starting to get somewhere (still... nothing spectacular, but it's progressing). Fun challenge to stay ahead of the next generation (I'm 3 .
Just got the TS BR down last year, now starting to try to grab it and the tantrum (no luck yet). Doing sw ts w2w, was about time after about 15 years of riding (on and off). Grabbing sw hs w2w (already grabbad sw 180's but not without 180). Just tried my first swith invert (half cab roll) and for the first time in 12 years or so a scarecrow. Just started landing hs bs 180's steadily.
I didn't try/learn any new tricks for about 8 years or so cause I didn't ride much, so all in all I'm pleased!
Hebrew, do you ride against Gerardo Mora in your division? _________________ FlyZone Wakeboarding Costa Rica |

I'm pretty happy with my progress so far this season...have landed my tantrum, back roll and 360... wanna concentrate on doing a ts invert and maybe throw some grabs on the inverts i can land now. Hoping my shoulder/bicep injury doesn't flair up and slow me down |

Started trying the TS BS 1. Didn't come close. Watched the Learnwake videos last night, gonna try that next time out. Stang Killa, did you see those?
Also started trying SW HS BS 1's, but they're also harder than I expected. Next time! _________________ FlyZone Wakeboarding Costa Rica |
