Flew into Tampa to meet my wife on her biz trip and decided I'd like to try a cable while I've got the opportunity. Got there 15 mins before they opened and got an armband. Got out on the dock and realized they were workin on the cable. Waited over an hour and it never got running. Got a rain check and the chic up front told me to call later and see if they were up and running. No big deal. Had my in-laws ridin around cause they wanted to see me board. Went to lunch and called the cable about 3:30 and the chic who answered very shortly told me the cable was workin like I asked a dumb question. Drove all the way back and asked the girl again if the cable was workin. She said yes and gave me an armband. I walk all the way to the dock obviously seeing that the cable isn't moving. Sat around for another 15 minutes for a guy to come out and tell us that they won't be up and running today. They were nice enough to refund my money after I explained a rain check won't do me any good in TN. I understand mechanical issues happen but they definitely dropped the ball on keeping everyone informed on what was happening. Also their website says 11-7 every day but they don't actually open until 12. I know it's just bad luck but still frustrating. Anyone around Tampa that can hook me up with a pull tomorrow? Laughing

Wow, that's awful. I'm really sorry you had a bad experience with McCormick's. Our website sucks, admittedly. The best way to keep up to date is through our Facebook page. I hope you find a pull!

TheHebrewHammer, You workin tomorrow? I might come back if it's runnin and if the inlaws don't end up with plans. My slingy is dyin to hit some rails.

Yep, I'll be there! I'll most likely be working until 4 and riding after that.

dbismyname, Bummer. That's the only downside to McCormick's. Love it and go every weekend when I can (been traveling a lot lately) but they absolutely suck at any communication about things like that.
