4th time out this season. Water was a toasty 57 degrees. Was nice to not have to wear the skull cap (which makes you look even more ludicris than the garbage bag dry suit look)

prevents brain freeze. When you ride in water that is 55 degrees or less when you take a bail it's like the worst ice cream headache you ever had. If you want to know what it's like grab a 5 gallon bucket and fill it with ice water, then fully submerge your head in it for a second or two. It's... uncomfortable to say the least.
Here's what it looks like:

cool vid kartman. It's neat how quiet it gets when the board starts cutting. I was secretly cheering you on to charge a TS w2w but you never heard me

Yeah I was pretty bummed I didnt get to ride, but I will soon. Um Texas is so bipolar about the weather...yesterday was colder in the 70's (I was in jeans and light jacket) but today was high 80's (tank top and shorts). The water was freezing though.

FunkyBunch, I love it!!! Which boat is yours?? Color wise...thats the only way I will truly remember them. Im in the Supra Solitare...mainly black and white with a black tower and green bimini top. Im not out there all of the time b/c of being at my moms house.

Mine is the black and orange supra 22. No graphics just supra logo.
My neighbors have the black and orange supra 24 has some flame graphic. We mostly board and they mostly surf.
I figure you saw them sense I did not get on the water until after 4 and they were putting up when I left the house.

| I don't pay to much attention to boats unless they are doing something silly. I mainly stayed by the ramp and the north wind block since the wind sucked today. We did not get much riding in as I think my shaft seal is out now.

| The shaft seal on an inboard is the seal where the drive shaft passes through the hull of the boat. It is a water cooled seal that keeps the water out of the boat. I think the coolant line sprung a leak. I only noticed it once we had the boat fully sacked out.

So basically, if I followed what you were saying, its the thing that keeps water out of the boat?
