Need some advice on whether to purchase an OJ 13x13 4 blade, or go for the gold and get an acme 542. I have an '86 2001 and do strictly wake boarding. We don't have any ballast as of now, but will definitely in the near future, and usually ride with at least 5 people (had 9 the other weekend). From what I have read here and around the web, people rave about the acme 542. Also from what I have read, getting the OJ will be an upgrade from the stock prop we were riding, but I want to know how much of an upgrade both would be. I can get the OJ for considerably less than the acme, but am willing to spend the $$ on the acme if it is indeed that much better. Anybody have experience with these props??? Thoughts?? Concerns?? Anything helps. Thanks guys!

No experience with the OJ, but I have the 542 on my '85 2001 and I sometimes can't believe how easily it pulls with a crapload of ballast/people in the boat. Don't doubt and just get it.

9 is a whole lot in a 2001, isn't it...
