ok, i must be crazy, but when this guy wanted to trade for a gopro 960 i had to jump on it as i have wanted a gofast boat since i was about 5. i will be picking up some hardware next week.
first step is to organize the garage and put the tower on the bayliner to make room.
had to start this build off on the right foot. you will see the keystone light on the bow

it used to have a 454 bbc behind a power glide tranny feeding into a 10* casale vdrive. prolly keep it about the same, roughly 450-500hp. first step is to build a rolling stand to put it in the garage on. going to hit harbor freight this weekend i think. _________________ trying to find a $5-7K usable saltare if anyone knows of one. |

got the stand built with the help of my wife. my son thinks its something to race around on his scooter when he is in the garage.
decided to pull the boat off the trailer when i got home tonight. what a pain in the ass to do it by myself.....
first step is to fix up the trailer so it suports the bottom of the boat right, and to strip the paint off of the boat while its on the dolly.
think the trailer needs some work?
how about a new axle? dont think i want to tow this thing on this one when im done

none as of yet. putting this project off for a while. we are using the trailer to tow our rails for winching. winching and work has been taking up most of my time. currently i am looking for a saltare project. might put off the flatty project for a couple of years. my desire to have a good wakeboat is way bigger than my desire to go fast on the water. on that note, anyone know of someone who has a saltare that needs some work that would be willing to trade for my bayliner 2050 without the tower? i know its a long shot, but i would be willing to deliver and pick up. _________________ trying to find a $5-7K usable saltare if anyone knows of one. |
