| If you are looking for a wakboard/surf boat, you can do a lot better than either of those for $30k. |

| I dont know what a Toyota SC22 is? If you want to wakeboard and surf you are going to need a V drive boat . IOs are very dangerous around small children. |

While I love the Toyota/Epic boats, $25k seems a bit on the high end for that boat. They are also going to lead to some confusion if you take them to a marine dealership since they have a Lexus engine and are likely the only one they have seen. On the plus side, MOST of the parts are still readily available. BTW, you do mean Toyota SX22 ... right?
I am not familiar with the Rinker at all, so I can't comment on it.
Surfing would definately not be something to do on an I/O, so an inboard or v-drive is the only way to go. There are a few good v-drive options in the $25k-$30k range out there, so I'd find a V-drive and go from there. My favorite in that range is the Mastercraft 205V / X-star / X1. |

I think it is an SC22 with the lexus motor, it does make me nervous that they do not make them anymore also.
I want something in the 24 ft range to help handle chop as we also cruise the lake with kids.
I like the looks and room of the Malibu LSV but can never find one with decent price range |

have you checked onlyinboards.com? Surely you can find a 23-24 ft boat for $30000 _________________ 2007 Mobius LSV |
