Anyone rode Fooshee's new board yet? What's your thought on the board? I totally love my Witness but are looking to get something with the grind-base. Probably the Witness grind, but might want to try something else. Anyone rode both, and can tell how they compare? _________________ FlyZone Wakeboarding Costa Rica |

I have ridden the Tex, and I really didn't like it. The fins are big, so it feels very locked in, especially compared to what I'm used to with cable boards in general and Liquid Force products in general.
I felt much more comfortable on the Witness Grind. It's a much looser feel. I imagine the added traction of the Tex might be nice if you're railing into a double S-bend, but otherwise, I'd advise you to go with the Witness.
Also, check out the FLX. It's unbelievably light and extremely user-friendly. _________________ rally to the wake |

| I really want to give the Tex a try. Just based on looks I imagine that thing just wants to take off of the flat water on air tricks. |

Ya, I know what you mean, and I imagine it would be nice behind the boat as well. It's just not my kinda board. _________________ rally to the wake |

Thanks! I only ride boat, no cables here yet. A rail and kicker are in the making, but it'll still be 95% wake I guess so the FLX might be a bit too much obstacle-focused for what I'll do with it. Witness Grind it shall probably be then. _________________ FlyZone Wakeboarding Costa Rica |

For your riding I would stay away from the flx also unless you pick one up on closeout. I know we moved a bunch of the FLX and Deluxe boards once they went on closeout. More boat riding I think you would like the witness or the tex better. _________________ Wakeskating

Word. The 2011 Witness Grind was/is a massively popular board. I'm sure there are tons of used ones floating around out there. If you can find one that hasn't been abused on obstacles too badly, you could get an awesome deal.
Does anyone know if there have been any changes to the shape for 2012? _________________ rally to the wake |

Hi
I also want a new board and i have two choices. The liquid force witness grind and the TEX. What i am looking for in a board is extreme edge hold to load the line at a cable park. To me it seems that the extra edge channels the TEX has makes this board the better choice for me.....do you guys agree??
Another question i have is if their is a difference in rocker. I know both boards have a hybrid rocker but does the TEX have a more agressive rocker then the witness??
Hope somebody has the answers for me...
Cheers

| JoLo_Si, Mostly agreed. Although I wish they would add the "Liquid Rail" polyurethane edge like their flex boards have, at least on the grind version. That thing would be unstoppable. |
