i am landin this w out the rope but it feels like my rotation is late or im not getting enough pop. we just got a supra and havent ridden behind that but i know its gonna be 5 times better wake than the i/o i was riding behind while learning this trick. Any ways the handle is always coming out from body halfway through the trick as well. So do I need to keep it at my hip really tight or what . Cause i always lose the handle or end up slipping out because im landing on my heel way to much. Any help appreciated. Thanks

I used to have this problem too. Remember to look over your lead shoulder and up and push the board away from the boat on take off. the closer the handle to your body the faster you will rotate. I ride behind on i/o so just keep tryin good luck!

pushing the board away from the boat will help make the rotation go faster and more natural. pushing the board away is the same thing as cutting up and away off the wake. my biggest problem was that I was looking straight and kinda throwin my head down. As soon as I looked up and over my lead shoulder and pushed the board away I went from landing on my heels or butt to having spare time to land it. good luck and remember not to huck the rotation.

hey man, i went to a lesson today with an wakeboard instructor and he had me landing these on my 5th try or so, first time ever trying them. here is all he said, take a cut that will get you landing on the second wake. then when you get to the top of the wake, look to the sky over your front shoulder and throw your lead hip to the sky. keep the handle in tight to have tension on the line, but when your about to land. keep the handle at your lead hip, he totally stressed the handle and the lead hip, and thats what made me land it. hope this helps!
