What areas are the best for wakeboarding/surfin on Lake of the Ozarks? What areas should I stay away from?
Reason I ask is my family might be looking at some property down there and I want it to be in an area where we can go right out the door and start boarding... also would like a golf course in the area... and if its close to some bars/restaurants that's great too.
I stayed right at the Little Niangua a couple years ago and it was a good spot to find some good water but are there better places?

As a rule of thumb, the closer you get to the golf courses the worse the riding will be on the "big end" of the lake. If you are riding during the week you'll find good water much more easily. Summer weekend days on anything at mile marker 15 or lower are pretty much a disaster. _________________
