Reef Byerly's are light, and definitely we're comfortable, but my pair weren't made to last against a grip tape board. They'll last a little while longer, and by then my Globe Chet Thomas V should come in (cheap on Ebay Razz

). Neoprene socks in these babies, probably where 313 got this from. Just going to drill some holes in the bottom of them and with the neoprene sock, they should then have everything the 313 shoes have, but better designed.

emerica templton 2 in black and dayglow pink cause pink is punk. i dont really see the point on spending 70$ for shoes just to wakeskate in my shoes have absolutely none of "traction" left on them but some how i still am able to wakeskate fine.

What should i do to convert some old skate shoes, is it worth it to drill wholes in the bottom and cut side vents or should i just leave them how they are?

I've got a pair of DC's and a couple pairs of Emerica's that I use for wakeskate shoes. Usually my old pair of shoes just end up being my new wakeskate shoes because i end up leaving a pair in someones boat or just don't feel like having wet shoes that i wore the day before in my backpack. I personally like the Emerica's better than the DC's cuz they don't have as much ankle cusion to soak up the water and get heavy.

i just got the blings last week and used em all this weekend. they're really comfy, they neo sock is great. they only bad thing is that its kinda hard to loosen the laces when your hands and the shoes are wet. overall i think they're great shoes. good grip and comfortable.

black reef byerlys. They are so confortable and work well on my catalyst. I'm not sure if they were made for grip tape, but they are awsome on foam!
