|
|
Weight: 105
Height: 5'4
Shoe size: 5
She's done growing at 24. Wants to get into wake boarding and her birthday is coming up. Looking to purchase a board for her. I imagine I'll probably take her into the shop to try on bindings first before purchasing them.
However, I'm sort of lost as to what size to get for her. Was considering a 132, but wondering if I should go smaller. Any suggestions?
Thanks! |

My niece is riding a 128 she is just under 100 lbs. We have to pull my niece a little faster than she like sometimes.
I would get her the 132. It will be easier for her to learn on and you will not have to pull her as fast to keep the board from porpoising as bad when pulling her at slower speeds. Slower speeds to me is 15-19mph |

I am 5'4 and weigh 125, and I ride a 138. I love it. But, I also like to ride slower I guess you can say...I usually ride at about 16-17mph just because thats what I feel comfortable with. _________________ A little part of me dies inside every time I see an $80,000 Malibu Wakesetter pulling a tuber. |

I would go with a 132 or down for her at 105. If your going to buy her a package board then I would go with the smallest board in the package line. Ex. Angel 130, Luna 128. Krush 128. Eden 130. If you are going to get a pro setup same advice. The smallest they offer in the lineup for each size. _________________ Wakeskating

I ride the 2010 Ronix FHL 136 and I'm 150lbs 5'7 but this year I will be riding the 2012 Ronix Quarter Til Midnight 134. Oh and I ride at 22.7
I'm still in the weight limits of my boards and all is well. I used to ride a 138 LF Melissa and honestly it was too much board for me! |

First off your sis needs to eat some pies! That's an extremely low weight for a 24 year old woman! (unless you meant 14 - then ok) I'm about her height and shoe size, I ride the 2012 Ronix FHL 136. Personally I wouldn't go with anything smaller than a 132. _________________ Suck it up and get hardcore! |

LOL. +1 It didnt really register until Choco said this. That is really light for a 24 year old Then again I have an asian chick friend who is actually under 100 lbs. I +1 the more pies, cheeseburgers too
Sorry nothing of substance to add, I don't know stats when someone is that small. Just thought this was funny. _________________ Today is a chance to become a greater person than the person we were the day before. |
