I live in Florida so there really is no off season, however we are such wussies down here that it doesn't take much to put us on the couch. I guess I'm actually talking about me because I don't go out unless it's over 80... LIKE TODAY!
Can't wait to hit the cable after work tonight.

What's the coldest air and/or water temps you've ridden in this winter? I'm sure there are some hardcore nuts out there...

Fellow Floridian here. This winter has been ridiculously warm. The coldest I've ridden this year was 50 degrees air temp, but most days have been mid 60s and some have been as warm as 80s! It's crazy!

Last winter was bitterly cold. I rode on one day when it was in the mid-high 40s.

The coldest I've ever ridden was low 60 air temps and low 50 water temps.

Took my new (to me) boat out for the first time in December and had to get a set in before I winterized. Air temp 48, water temp 47. Didn't even hit the 100 degree rule. It was awesome though!

I'm in Pensacola Florida and its always colder than central Florida where I'm from (Deland) it has been a warm winter but I haven't been out since November up here. Over Christmas break I did go out when I was back in CF water temp was 50's Air was about 65. Never ridden much colder than that water temp wise but as low as 60 air temp, us Floridians have it pretty good!

A group went out last week before the Chicago boat show on one of the rivers for a session. All the lakes around here were frozen but the river was still clear. Watched the video of it and a few of them had on wetsuits but most didn't. I saw the river the other day and it was already frozen so water that day had to be mid 30's with the air temp mid 40's. Wish I could have gone with them.

I was able to muster a crew around November 20th - about 37 Air temp, water around 40 - there was snow in the adjacent hills. hands and feet:FREEZING!!! - Drysuit worked great - water was Glass- no wipeouts and I consider this the "cooler" part of the season, not the "off" season.

two years back I made it out the day after thanksgiving - the wife went shopping and me and my kid hit up the lake - had a major boat malfunction (my buddies boat) - had to swim in to shore - again FREEZING.

Some of you guys are just crazy. Keep them coming, all the dedication is warming my heart.
I had to work late and didn't get to go last night. It'll be over 80 again on Thursday though...

will be starting back up in MS any weekend now, went a couple of years ago and it was the first weekend in March somewhere around 6 degrees but cloudy and a cold north wind, hungover some kind of bad from a bachelor party the night before, no wetsuit and it took me at least 10 seconds to catch a breath in that water, wasn't feeling the hangover any more, i would have ridden about every weekend this winter but can't find anyone with a big enough set around here to go ride or even drive the boat, bunch of wusses

Congrats Brad, are you going to keep it slammed like I have heard Richard did? Stop and say hello if you see us on the lake.

Nice ride Brad. I've been looking at all kind of boats for the coming season and I'm finding I can get the best bang for my buck with a Launch. I've never riden one but I hear the fit n' finish is right up there.

Went out Mid to Late November this past fall in Central Indiana at about 6 am. Air-42, water 48. Only wore a 2mm neoprene top, deep water start...definitely wakes your ass right up!
