|
|
While I am making the decision on what and when to buy my wake boat, my father in-law has suggested storing his 2005 Hurricane Tri-hull Deckboat at my place for a while. He swears I can ride behind it, which I know I can, but how much fun will it be. Has anyone ridden behind something similar? How do you think I should weight it? I've ridden in the boat before but I can't remember how much of a wake there was, we were mostly just cruising around Crystal Rivier however.
I wish I could give you the exact stats on the motor and lenght but I beieve it's like a 50-60 horse 4-stroke honda and 19-21 feet long. |

| You can definitely wakeboard behind it. But weighting it probably wouldnt be the best idea as the boat will probably struggle to plane. Just get a few mates on board and thats about the best you can do for ballast. |

| Dont ride behind a deck boat, but have ridden behind my fair share of outboards. With a 60hp engine on a 20ft boat you're going to get a very small wake, just make the best of it! |

| 10-4. I'm hoping I've got the motor wrong and there's a 90 haning off the back of that thing. That might allow me to add a little more weight. Either way at least the crew won't have to worry about spilling their beers. HAHA |

| Vette74, I am definately intermediate at best. W2W, grabs, fs180. Still working on toeside w2w and bs180's so I don't need a pro level wake but I don't just want to do butter slides. |
