Jt,
I figured you of all people would know Auburn never needs to worry about running backs. You know more about the team than Gene Chizik but you seem to forget that we are, and always will be RBU.
it wasn't but a couple of years back when auburn was sporting the nation's 69th best rushing attack. and 53rd the year before that. and 47th the year before that. "always" must mean something different where you're from.
yeah, ok. enjoy .500 next season. you've earned it.

What if McCalebb goes pro? I wish I would have worded my initial post differently. I thought it was funny seeing how there was some controversy about how Dyer arrived at Auburn and now he's leaving after two years. _________________ RIP DLS.

Simply put, the plus-one would match the No. 1 team in the BCS standings after the regular season against the No. 4 team in a bowl game, and No. 2 against No. 3 in another, creating two national semifinals. The winners would play in a championship game the following week.
I would be all for this. _________________ RIP DLS.

2) My son loves football and that is AWESOME.
Agreed 100%, it's awesome when the really little ones are into sports. My daughter was yelling "Go Bison!" a lot during the latter half of last week. Her attention span is still a bit too short for a full game, but the excitement level is amazing.
Unfortunately tonight's game is on a bit too late for her.
Sure glad this game was on tonite. I'm all caught up on naps for at least a month.
Also glad okie lite got snubbed. I mean sheot, who would want to see a game that contained both defense AND offense? Glad the BCS saved us from that one, dodged a bullet there. _________________
LSU had no offense. I was hoping they would. Now I live in a hell of hearing "14" all year long. Alabama fans don't believe ESPN when espy says this is alabama's 9th National title. Sometimes I hate my state
LSU still has a claim to the national title, since they played and lost on a neutral field. They won their division and lost to a strong #2 team in the nation on a neutral field. Bama did not have a convincing win. 5 field goals is not convincing.
I award the national championship to LSU. _________________ Work SUX!

Seriously, not convincing? Did you watch the game? _________________ Impossible is not a a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.

5 field goals is not convincing to me at all. The Bama offense was poor at best. You can't convince me that LSU's defense was so incredible that Bama couldn't move the ball to the end zone.
Yes, Bama has a great defense. However, LSU didn't have their best QB playing. you know the one that won games against top 10 teams. That was not a good game at all for either team. _________________ Work SUX!

Poor? Maybe they weren't explosive, but Alabama's offense last night was very efficient, and McCarron played one of his best games all year. They moved the ball at will between the 30's. Sure, Saban swallowed 95% of the playbook when they got inside the red zone, but he's Nick Saban: of course he's going to play it conservatively.
Alabama is CLEARLY the better football team on both sides of the ball. If not for a kicker who couldn't get out of his own way and one amazing play by that LSU DB, the first game would have been a similar feeling "blowout" in Alabama's favor. The Hat had a month to prepare for this game and decide how to best use his QB's, and he got CRUSHED. The score may as well have been 42-0; they had no chance the second the first FG went through. _________________ "I'm scared if I stop drinking all at once, the cumulative hangover will literally kill me."

And if anyone was playing the "Honey Badger" shot game, you have my deepest sympathies. I'm sure your friend's funeral will be very moving. _________________ "I'm scared if I stop drinking all at once, the cumulative hangover will literally kill me."
^^^^^ LOL, what a horrible play. Seriously, if JJ had his head out of his arse and kept running and cut right he would have had at least a 10 yard gain.....or roughly 10% of their total offense for the game. _________________

AUBURN, Alabama -- Four-star offensive lineman Patrick Miller enrolled in Auburn on Thursday after spending more than week in Baton Rouge with plans to honor his commitment and enroll at LSU.
Miller became the fourth member of Auburn's 2012 signing class to start classes this week.
Miller is a 6-foot-7, 260-pounder from Dwyer High School in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. He committed to LSU last September and announced plans to arrive in time for the spring semester. But he was told this week he'd have to pay his own way this spring because the Bengal Tigers were at their 85 scholarship limit.
I thought the SEC was going to cut down on this over signing business? _________________ RIP DLS.

It is hard to argue with his W-L numbers. However, Thomas regressed this year. It is hard to see him getting a real shot in the NFL. _________________ Is President Obama a Keynesian?
some of you ag fans may want to take a look at this. very classy move by sherman - he wrote a fantastic letter about coaching and sent it to every single hs football coach in texas.

Yeah, but another year in Oregon's system wont get him any more NFL ready. He also has his degree, so it's not like he's making a huge gamble on this. _________________ www.TheLiquidPlayground.com

Tosh Lupoi has been named defensive line coach and defensive run game coordinator at Washington, Husky head coach Steve Sarkisian announced today.
Lupoi comes to Washington from California where he spent the last four years as defensive line coach.
“Coach Lupoi is a terrific young coach and a dynamic recruiter,” Sarkisian said. “He will have an immediate impact with our team both on the field and in recruiting.”
Our recruiting class may be just average at this point, but the stage is set. Sark has killed it so far replacing the defensive staff.
I would love to still land a few big fish this year, but if not, I'm not worried. _________________

jt09, can you copy and post the article here? When I click on your link the right 1/4 of the text is covered by ads. When I adblock the ads, the ads and the text are blacked out.
Sherman is/was a class act. I watched his press conference/exit interview and it made me sad to see him go. I was fine with getting rid of him, but am not happy that the athletic department let the news get out before he was told or the way he was let go.
So far it sounds like Tosh just cleared his desk and left without telling anyone. It will be interesting to see how the dust settles with this. _________________ www.TheLiquidPlayground.com
