I was reflecting this morning about MLK's speech and where we are today compared to then. I think we have made great progress and would suspect he would be proud. I'm very proud of some of my friends and many kids (including my own), who don't even think to judge a person by anything other then their character. _________________ If love is blind, why is lingerie so popular? |

My 3 year old doesn't use color to describe someone. And by that, I mean when we watch fights together and he picks a fighter, he ALWAYS describes them by trunk color. And if they are both wearing the same color trunks, he will then say "the tall one" or "the one with the tattoos."
HE's never said "the black one" or "the white one."
I don't know why this is. I don't know if he just doesn't think of skin color, or if they have taught him in daycare "school" not to ID someone by color..
But either way, it's interesting to me. _________________ I walk 47 miles of barb wire, I got a cobra snake for a necktie, a brand new house up on the road side, and it's made out of rattlesnake hide |

Good day to read some of his works. Reminds you of how a leader can really effectuate change with strong arguments and righteousness. He held no office but still influenced this country in a profound way. I have a ton of respect for the man... _________________ If I agreed with you we would both be wrong. |
