I just watched this for the first time and couldn't stop watching until the 6 episodes on Netflix were over. Anyone else watch it? One of the funniest shows I've seen.

I found Portlandia a week ago and tore through every episode within two days. I freakin' love this show.

I don't know if you were in college in the early 90's, but there are quite a few "jokes" that you really don't the FULL impact of unless you were 19 or so in 1991....

I think this show has a pretty narrow appeal, but it's dead on when it spoofs the kind of people I knew then...

i watched the first few episodes and they were great, then i watched a few more that were on tv and they were TERRIBLE so i'm torn, it's completely hit or miss for me

I always liked Armestin on SNL and have been a huge fan of Carrie Brownstein sincer her days with Sleater-Kinney and now Wild Flag.

Sleater-Kinney covered Mother from Danzig at the last show I saw them at and Carrie slayed it.

yup, a friend from Austin (no surprise there) turned me on to it last summer. Glad to see there are new episodes.

keep the channel on IFC and watch Todd Margaret as well, pretty funny.
