Well...had a bad landing on the trampoline and fractured my tibia. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers for quick and complete healing. It's gonna take surgery (plate and screws) to fix. Keep my wife in your thoughts and prayers too. This is quite a burden on her.

You shouldn't have done that. Heal up quick. Wakeboarding season in OK is only 5 months away!

Ouch!!!! Good luck man. That looks like it hurts. At least it's getting cold out so during healing time you won't sit and watch people out having fun

I'm amazed I haven't injured myself on a trampoline. Heal up quick!
As a side-note, that's a ridiculously awesome x-ray thing, is that a regular deal now? Haven't had an xray in 4 or 5 years. Crazy details.

That's not an x-ray, I believe that is an MRI.

LOL everyone...thanks for the humor and well wishes.
Seth...yes tibial plateau fracture. Any advice would be appreciated.
Gnar...the image is from a CT, which is why it is so detailed. That is the back side, as well. It it cracked in the front too, just not as bad.

Yours is pretty clean. I had two vertical fractures plus a horizontal at the base, creating 3 pieces. All from a TS FS 180 gone bad.
Long surgery, plate and 10 screws. Recovery was very tough, compared to ACL reconstruction.
Pain was much worse. Had to use crutches for months, then one crutch for a month.
I was bed and couch for about two weeks. Third week was better, but still very limited. Fourth week i was cleared for some small amount of range of motion. From there it got better very quickly. But still had to use crutches for the first two months.

Seth & Okie - I've had tibial plateau fractures in both of my knees but never had surgery. Fracturing my right one in June sucked - definitely haven't recovered fully yet. Still is sore when I wear heels/run.
Best of luck!

You forgot a few:
4. Never start a land war in Asia.
5. Never play cards with a guy whose name has a city in it.
6. Never get involved with a woman who has a tattoo of a dagger anywhere on her body.
7. Always get at least 10 hours of sleep a day.
8. Never get into a battle of wits with a Sicilian when death is on the line.

Surgery went very well and the doc was really pleased with the results. Pain has been quite a bit higher than pr-surgery but they are getting it under control. They ended up putting in one plate and 10 screws.
