When its time to get a new board. Im just looking for opinions on a board that rides very similar to the 09-11 One board, but lands smoother. I loved my 10 one board but just broke it today and unfortunately its out of warranty. Im looking for a board that rides similar, pops about the same, and lands smoother. Im not afraid of going the flex route either, as ive been looking to try some flex boards. Yalls opinions are greatly appreciated.

check out a phalanx. super smooth, great effortless pop, super strong boards. shoot ray an email @ ray@phalanxwake.com i rode a couple of their prototypes about a month ago and like them more than my slingshot. if you ride cable alot, or winch alot, their park boards like the C.R.A.P.P and the PRK have a sintered bases, so if you scratch or gouge it it can be filled in with a ptex candle like a snowboard. here is the board line up. http://www.phalanxwake.com/wp/board-selection/ they will be ready to ship come spring is what i have been told. here is a pic of the guts of the phalanx continuous rocker board with urethane heal pads.

Thanks for the replies. I browsed through Phalanx's website and they seem like great boards but i have no idea which board you were talking about. Is it the one pictured? Also they seem a bit steep for a board.

| I've always been pleased with my LF Shane setups. Not sure how they compare to a One though.

I've ridden the LF Shane, loved that board. Then I got a slingshot which is a much looser feel but I'm absolutely enamored by them, super light for whipping inverts, great pop despite was some will say, and of course the flex helps on softer landings (just land a little tail heavy and treat it like a leaf spring).
My personal advice is looking seriously into the slingshot lineup. I've ridden all but 2 of their boards - can't go wrong.

Ive been eyeing the 2012 ss lyman. Does anyone have any experience with it yet as I know its just now available. Also my local dealer offered me a new 2011 ronix phoenix for $270. I might go that route if i can get some more opinions on it. No one i know has or has ridden one and there isnt that many reviews on it. Again, thanks guys for the responses.

The Phoenix Project is an awesome board. I went to the shop with intentions to demo 2 different boards. I ended up on the phoenix instead of one of the boards I planned on. The Phoenix was great from the start, it is not a board you have to get used to. It is slower than most of the boards I have rode in the past, but I feel no affects of that loss in speed when jumping. Everything is just super smooth with this board. If you ride it like normal, then it pops like a continuous rocker. If you wait longer and pop more off your back foot, then it will send you straight up.
The Ronix rep. made a comment about the high percentage of people that buy the board after demoing it, and it has definitely held true at the local shop.
this review is dead on- http://wakeboardingmag.com/gear/wakeboards/2011/06/01/editors-pick-2011-ronix-phoenix-project-wakeboard/

Well the latest update. Turns out my warranty was good through the end of October. I sent it off a couple weeks ago and Ronix is replacing it. Idk which version i will be getting as the replacement but i hope its the new atr. The board that i sent off was the limited red one from 2010 with the sintered base. But anyways, thanks everyone for the responses.

I love the One but if it broke and the warranty I definitely be looking for a board which is just as good at a cheaper price
