How accurate are the prices the NADA guides list? My parents are looking at new houses and don't use the boat much since I've moved to So-Cal, so they are thinking of selling the boat.

It listed average retail at around $26,000 and low around $21,500. I compared these prices to similar boats on boattrader.com and that seems about right. What should I list the boat at if they choose to sell?

Nor*Cal, Try to look at the details-like if the boat is in excellent shape, has tons of options, etc. Then you can go towards the highside of the estimate. Ofcourse, it is worth what someone will pay for it-so work your way down on the price!

i don't believe in bluebook prices. things are worth as much as people are willing to pay for them.

No matter what you sell, high ball the price if they pay it cool, and if they talk you down to the value or a little above they feel they received a good deal..
