hello
i am new to this forum, sorry if its not ok to make new topics with first post
but i realy dont hawe lots of khnowings in boats, and hawe noone to ask right now. I am loking for wakebaord boat, rigt no i am thinking of Moomba Mobius y2k (not the V one), afaik its made for wakeboarding, with ok wake and built in balast sitem. wanted to ask is this true, mby someone has such boat and can share experience? i am wnating to bring it to Latvia. because of our taxes and customs its to expensive tu buy a newer one, or buy one here
so ist this boat ok? what pros/cons aree there?
other option could be 98 malibu sunsetter vlx, bouth boats are crashed a bit, so i could patch them up ower winter season
I am wakebaording alredy 2 years, and my wife just started this year. 80% of time we wake on cable, becose here its a bit expensive to rent a boat, thets why i want to buy one on my own
thx a lot
p.s. sorry for my gramar |

Hey man... I have an '08 Mobius D-Drive and it has a great wake... prolly not as good as a V-Drive though. I guess in your situation and depending on your skill level, the D-Drive should be fine if it is available. However, I have heard the pre-'05 Moombas can have issues as they were not yet owned by Skier's Choice. I am sure some more exp. people on here can elaborate... _________________ '08 Mobius LS |

yep, its the word, but what about thet concrete model moomba mobius 2000
http://www.moomba.com/archive/00mobius/index.html
the thing is, we dont get lots of boats on market, and if tehre are sme they wery expensiwe, so i will ship one from US, but to be sure the boat reaches me, money dosnt get lost, etc, i wil use one of my frends help who is selling us cars, and so i can chouse only from the auctions he works with. and right now form boats i could buy and would like thers only this moomba and 98 malibu sunsetter vlx
so i want to khow all about shis boat befor buy one, shipping from US to Latvia would be ~1-2month and not cheep as well, so i dont want to chouse wrong boat
i wish we had your prices on bouts and wake/snow stuff, here all teth stuff is like 2 times expensiwer _________________ Audaces fortuna juvat |

Man... be careful. You could get screwed easily on a deal like that... have your friend check the boat out carefully! _________________ '08 Mobius LS |
