|
|
Hey guys, I have a guy that has an Acme 1235 that has been rebuilt. He asked me to make him an offer. I have no idea how much I should offer, what would be fair for me to offer?
Thanks. |

no more than $25-50 i would say. it usually costs a couple hundred to have them rebuilt. if they are totaly trashed, the rebuild costs more than a new prop. _________________ trying to find a $5-7K usable saltare if anyone knows of one. |

| I recently paid about $150 for a reconditioned 3 blade. Haven't run it, just got it to have a spare handy in case I do something stupid. I think it was an fair price considering a new prop would be about twice that. |

ACME will recondition props for between $110-150. If the prop is not in really bad shape I would say offer $200-250. I've had 2 props done by ACME now and have been very pleased with the work and turn-around. All you have to do is call them to get an RMA#, ship it to their repair center, and in about 1-2 weeks you will have your prop back. _________________ Jason

find out who did the rebuild. If the rebuild was done by a good prop guy then you will have no problems with the rebuild. Anything under $350 would be good on a good rebuilt prop. 1235s are a good option for a Malibu/Axis boat so I would jump on it if the price is right. If acme did the rebuild then not a problem. _________________ Wakeskating
