Anyone going? It's probably going to be a pretty rad time, as Parks Bonifay has lived an interesting life to say the least. 
I would definitely be there if I had the time to make it down to surf expo this year.

Hosted by celebrity commentator, Sal Masakela, the event will bring fans, friends and family together for a night of tribute and entertainment as Parks Bonifay gets the toast or rather “roast” of his life. Returning to the notable Hard Rock Live Orlando where Bonifay’s biography film was premiered, recognizing him as a legend in his sport just two years ago, will be transformed into a whole new experience on September 9th. Awaiting him behind those doors is an array of celebrity friends and athletes ready to poke a little fun at the guest of honor while he stews in the hot seat (all in love and admiration of course).
Red Bull Toasted will feature celebrity guest including skateboarding pro Ryan Sheckler and special appearances by several wakeboading influentials such as 2007 Rookie of the Year award winner Adam Errington, four-time World Champion Shaun Murray and legend Zane Schwenk. With a few career highlights and even some - ahem – lowlights added in the mix for further amusement. To ensure good humor, stand up comedians Dan Levy and Tammy Pescatelli will also take the stage.
Red carpet arrivals will take place at 7:00 p.m. and Red Bull Toasted will begin at 8:00 p.m. The event is open to the public, welcomes all ages and tickets can be purchased on-line. Saw this on friday's twitter feed. I wish I could go  I'm so far away from the wakeboarding scene it's depressing. Are they going to record it at all? Sell DVDs later / broadcast it online?
