Thinking about taking the family to the event at Volunteer Landing in Knoxville this weekend Aug 27/28.
Can I get some feedback on a couple of things:
How's the venue: We are not taking a boat so we would be on land. Do you get a good view of the riding?
Is the event family friendly. It would be me, my wife and 3 kids (12, 10 and 7) Myself and the 12 and 10 year old wakeboard and would really like to see the pros, but it is a 4 hour drive from Charlotte, NC and would hate to get there to find out it is not appropriate for younger kids or that visibility is limited unless you get there super early.
Thanks |

| Hey googleybear, If I can help in anyway let me know shoot me a email to jbaggett@tnrmt.com and I will give you some free tickets. It is defintly a family friendly even and the viewing is great you should have no problem finding a place to watch due to the volunteer landing pretty much stretching the length of the venue. I have worked the event every year and it has always turned out great once again if I can help you in anyway let me know. |

| I went last year. It was a great time. The floatilla is definitely not family friendly, but on shore definitely is. You can get a pretty good view, there are sponsor booths set up, boats, food, and the pros will walk by every so often. Definitely worth the trip |

Kudos to jasonba1. He got my family tickets. The trip was definitely worth it. Great event. Would definitely do again. Got lots of autographs from pros. It was not so crowded in the AM and you could get right up by what I call the launch pad. We were amazed at how accessible the pros are. Thanks Jason!

| Dude, forget standin in line to get an autograph on a poster. I walked down to my hotel lobby to grab a beer sat afternoon and there sits, parks, shane, bob soven, and jimmy lariche. Straight up bought parks a drink and stood around and talked with em. Blew my mind. I knew they would be pretty accessible but never dreamed I would have a drink with parks. |
