| Any suggestions for a cableboard that rocks? Im looking for a fast board with lots of grip without external fins, that works well on sliders too? built in fins is ok if they dont get worn out or obstruct too much. Not into the whole flex board thing. Any suggestions? |

Well i wakeboard behind a boat but if I was a cable rider I would be all over the new CTRL RX board but its a flex board so it might not be your thing
http://www.ctrlwake.com/ctrlpanel/decks.html
I think its cool because no one has these and its a little bit on the different side _________________ commit or die committing |

| I know you said no flex but the Watson Hybrid is a blast at the cable. It's not super flexy like a Slingshot so that might be an option. It's pretty quick too. |

I agree but I was thinking it's not as fast as he wanted. It's fantastic though. I LOVE my Witness, It's awesome. |

I broke my ronix covin a few weeks ago, thats why I need a new board. I really liked the covin for airtricks with the fins but that doesnt really work for sliders. So, as I wrote before, Im looking for a fast, grippy board with builtin fins that lasts and doesnt hookup too much on rails.
I actually tried an old LF board, from the same era as the squirt, and it actually works really well on the cable. It has a flat base which is super on the slider, and a fast continous rocker (i believe) and its narrow, which makes it sit deep in the water and almost makes the board dig in as much as 0,7" fins. Its a little wobbly and uneven at times and you can feel that its an old board. Its also super fun on sliders cause its narrow, it gives you more of a snowboard feeling. It would be cool if some big brand would make a cable specific board and try out narrower sizes. I mean, a cable board doesnt need the width to creat pop of the wake like a boat board needs. Its also softer in the landings. |
