I got out on the lake today and didn't have my fancy no stretch wake rope and wow. It blew my mind going back down to a wall mart rope. Every time I made a good hard carve trying to jump into the flats the rope would simply rip out of my hands. The moment I hit the wake and jumped the rope seemed to try to rubber band back towards the boat.

It also didn't help that the handle on the rope is huge and really squishy. But I could work around the crappy handle. The rubber band effect the rope hand really threw me off a lot. If you don't have a nice rope I suggest buying one asap. I found a bigger difference in rope then I did moving from low tow point to a tower to be honest.

Haha yeah, I experienced the same thing. Wakeboarded with a ski rope for the first time a few years ago. Did a normal Ollie and the rope yanked so hard it pulled me into a face plant. I never realized it made that much of a difference.

Its like boarding with a rubberband. You cant lock into your position becuase Its not a solid line anymore. Good equipment is a must!!

I love the non-stretch rope. I have had an Accurate for years, but it is starting to get frayed. I picked up a used Ronix mainline and Hardline handle. Love the coating on the line, and the handle has this really nice almost chamois material, very comfortable. I will be looking to replace the Accurate mainline this winter.
