|
|
Hey well I'm 16 and I've been wakeboarding a bit for the past few years. I've only been using some crappy Costco wakeboard ( it's a "hobbie"? )
I'm 6"1 175 pounds.
Im really just looking to get more into it and decided that getting a half decent wakeboard might be a good start.
I think it might have mainly been because of the board that was limiting me but I can only do like small jumps off the wake.
I was looking at a hyperlight board maybe or cwb with liquid force bindings. Doesn't really matter how much it costs.
Any recommendations on where to start? I know most people say you need to go demo some but that's not an available option for me.
Thanks. |

$800 should buy you just about any wakeboard ever designed. You don't have a budget. _________________ rally to the wake |

personally with your budget which is a very good amount I would go with either a Liquidforce witness or watson classic for a board, and harley bindings... but since you want open toed go with the transits they are the same thing as the harleys just ot. You should be able to find this setup for under 700 and a package deal somewhere might ring it down to around 600 my guess? _________________ Random Acts Of Dumbness Will Always Be Rewarded. |

actually a quick searc hand you can get the witness grind and transits for 449$ thats dirt cheap imo for one of the best boards on the market and decent bindings _________________ Random Acts Of Dumbness Will Always Be Rewarded. |

| I have a basically brand new witness that I'll let go for $250. It's only been on the water one time. Awesome board! Perfect condition. |

Regular. However getting the grind-version won't hurt your normal boat/wake riding. _________________ FlyZone Wakeboarding Costa Rica |

You might wanna think about getting the grind just in case you decide to try cable. I never thought I'd try cable when I bought my board, but I changed my mind. As stated, the grind base won't hurt your boat riding at all. A couple of people I've ridden with use the Witness Grind for boat riding and love it, including two Liquid Force team riders who can choose any board in the line. _________________ rally to the wake |
