is a 1988 supra mariah a good wakeboard boat to start with??

i recently just purcahsed a 1988 supra mariah for 2500 dollars it had to small 6 inch holes in the hull from a forklift trying to take it out of the water but luckily my family owns a fiberglass business so that problem is solved i just want to know what people think about this boat and if there is anything i need to do to make it a better wakeboard boat!!!!!!! thank you

It's a good boat. haugy may pipe in...he had one. The Mariah doesn't have quite as much freeboard as the Sunsport or Saltare but it will do just fine. Throw a couple fat sacks on either side of the motor and you'll have a nice wake.
