I'm in the market to buy a new wakeboard and I would assume the better deals would be after the season was over. But I was wondering when exactly the best deals will come out on boards and bindings. I'm looking to see what you guys have noticed in years around wakeboarding.

You will find better deals at the end of the season. Ebay has very good deals you may also want to check evo.com they have a good outlet section. Just search for wakeboard shops online, most of them have an outlet/closeout section. Good luck.

You can check out the classified section of the forum for some deals on new and used boards.
All of the online retailers sell closeout gear from the previous model years to make room for the upcoming new gear. Generally around mid to late summer (now) you start seeing some discounts on current year model gear. Whenever possible, I have always purchased new/old stock. I just bought a new '09 Liquid Force Lyman FLY. This board retailed for around $700 and I got it for under $250. I also bought a pair 2011 Ronix Frank bindings, but they were only marked down $20.
Although the manufacturers are always creating new products, many of the boards and bindings stay the same from year to year with only cosmetic changes, but the discounts can be drastic. Check out the closeout sections of these places
boardstop.com
buywake.com
wakeside.com
the-house.com
perfski.com
evogear.com
closeoutdude.com
and of course ebay.com _________________ Hilton Head Wake Sports.com

Search on "all of craigslist" there are alot of unused boards around the country that people are selling for w/e reason, i recently picked up limited edition monster energy 2009 LF watson still in the plastic for 160$ for the boat, as well as a 2009 company severance brand new/unused for 150$ shipped for the cable.
