|
|
My friend has an Outback V with the factory sacks in it. Seems like no matter how many people and weight we put in it the wake seems to curl straight up about 6-8" from the top. No nice smooth mellow wake. So anyone on here got one and figured out how to weight it. I'll give you an example. 6 people and 2 kids, all 3 sacks full, another 250 sack in the bow and a 250 sack on the back seat. Should be plenty of weight. Wrong. Even moved both sacks up to the bow. Still same thing, Just can't get it right for him. That is basically the same setup I use in my 03 SANTE and the wake is huge at 22 and will boot you. So if you have any recommendations he is all ears. _________________ Lithic, LLC, my biz

your way too rear heavy.
if my math is correct youve got 2680lbs of ballast and people behind the windsheild
and 250lbs of ballast in front of the windsheild.
fill the center and front sacs only and just have people in the rear and ill will get nice and rampy(smooth mellow) and get rid of peak.
you might also bring the wake plate down to only 3/4 or 1/2 up. but that wont do anything if you dont get rid of rear weight too.
speeding up will also aid.
your just to rear heavy. _________________

well come to think of it that center sack is more towards the rear than anything else, guess we need the two sacks up front and then just gradually fill the rear until it's dialed in, he doesn't have a wake plate, don't know why honestly, awesome dude, thanks, he will be pumped _________________ Lithic, LLC, my biz
