your lucky you have gunnels to put LED strips under.
I used the speaker ring (5 total) and this is what my boat looks like at night...

Stang, your boat looks awesome. I've been watching this post since you originally put the pics up and thought I would compliment you. The LED lights look incredible as well!
Are you up and running after the bent prop? Was your shaft and engine ok? |

pimpin, that looks nice, its amazing how much brighter yours is with the exposed rings over my down firing ones.
thanks everyone, i went out and tested teh leds last night on the lake, they did great. no windsheild glare at all. i did notice what a few warned me about, it did seem to attract the nats and bugs just a bit, but not bad. they were great for wiping down the interior/ unloading after dark too.
yes been up and running for awhile. 2G later, a new prop, strut, and shaft. engine was fine. _________________

did you not know you hit a stump?
nice looking boat. We have an all black 2010 LSV with grey/white/black interior. The LSV is a sharp boat, and I agree with you on the tower. |

Wow, 100 hrs already? Dang, our 2010 LSV only has 85 hrs on it and its used every weekend at our cottage. I guess if your using it a few times a week or have it out all day on a weekend it really adds up.
Im a big fan of the raised chrome "Moomba." I wasn't sure if I would like it when we got ours but after seeing it in person I fell in love.

were more into the riding than the lifestyle. most times we dont even have tunes on. but if i did id probly go with some of the kicker KTM6 dual pod 4 speaker setups. cheap and ive heard them in person. _________________

haha yea, we go out 2-3 times a week, and ride two sets each per day. usually 45 minutes a set. we dont really party or float, so its all riding time.
yeah the raised letters where a must for me, i had a sticker on my 03, while easier to wipe down each time, the letters make a huge difference in looks and class. something not even mastercraft or nautique has. _________________

Did you follow a how-to for your Bimini top or just kind of wing it and see how it fit as you went? I'm getting a little sick of having no way out of the sun myself and am wanting to tackle something similar to how you did yours. _________________ 2010 Glastron GT 205XL ( Volvo 4.3L GL-J)

| Nautique does have raised letter decals just like the ones on your boat. They come with the "chromax" decal option. I had them on my '09 and '10 SANTE 230's - FYI. |

3mile. we had the boat in the shop. took measurements off the tower and built it to that exact size. there is a build thread for it on here.
good to know chat, i had not come across those. _________________

I am certain that some Mastercraft models have the raised letters as well. Not sure whether it was an option or it comes this way, but the CSX 220 definately has Mastercraft in raised chrome letters on the side.
I'm not a huge fan of shiny logos / chrome bits, but to each their own. |

well we towed the LSV 3.5 hours down to Bethy Creek Resort for the weekend for a Moomba Jam. it was absolutely an amazing place. glass all day every day, as long as you could ride litterally. we met some awesome people and just had a blast. we have traveled alot wakeboarding but that place takes the cake. we will definatly go back.

You should come up for Fall Bash to Bethy Creek. There are at least 20 boats and 100 plus people. _________________ There'll be two dates on your tombstone/ And all your friends will read 'em/ But all that's gonna matter is that little dash between 'em... |

| What lake were you on when you hit the stump? You ever make it to lake Austin? We are probably picking up our boat from south austin marine next week and thought about checking it out. |

| stang, i'm not sure if you already mentioned this, but why did you go with your own custom bimini over the moomba tower bimini? |

leeroy55: Belton Lake, our home lake. yes i have been to lake austin, and will never go again. solid boats and rollers. useless water. even after the 45 minute ride up the river to try to get away from them.
mgs917: looks and amount of shade.
the bimini on my '03 looked like something off a bayliner. small, arched and gay looking. so i built this to have twice the size, the black color(old one was grey) and look like it belongs on a wake boat. when i ordered the '11 i ordered it with no shade and just transfered the custom bimini to the new boat. _________________
