looking for central illinois riders (clinton lake)

i'm looking for legit people wanting to board. boat is an 08 mastercraft x1 with alot of ballast! i appreciate gas money and help wiping down at the end of the day. i like to get out a few times a week depending on weather.

Also, water temp was 79 on the lake today due to the powerplants hot water!

I was out on Saturday...I think I actually passed you guys on the way back to the dock on the discharge end. I have a blue/white malibu sunsetter, and should be out there quite a bit this year.

That was actually our first time out boarding on clinton. We are from decatur, so we usually hit decatur lake. I live on the side of town closest to clinton lake so it only takes about 25 minutes to get over there. As far as tricks, most of my crew is on their second season so they are mastering wake to wake and basic stuff. I blew my knee out last september ending the season, so i'll be on only surface tricks for a month or so until my knee gets used to things again

I say we all meet up one day on the water. I'll be on clinton exclusively for a few more weeks until the other lakes warm up a bit.

Definitely not looking to be a good weekend on the water. I'll be out by the discharge giving a few friends/my wife pulls tonight, but I wont personally be riding.

just registered on this site so I could post in this thread. I'm in Shelbyville and we're out on the lake (lake shelbyville) 2 or 3 times a week. I don't have a wakeboarding boat, it's just a 24 foot mariah ski boat, but we're out wakeboarding a lot. none of us are any good, i'm just getting to where I can consistently clear my wake jumps (but I don't have much pop)

anyone wanting to ride with me is welcome to come, I'd love to get some advice from some more experience riders. my number is 217-273-3227. I've never had a pull behind an actual wakeboard boat and never experience a tower or a none stretch rope, so if anyone ever wanted to bring me along, that would be amazing. I could pay more than my fair share of gas and i'd help with wiping down and whatnot afterwards.

I'm very eager to get better but when I'm just taking out people who have never ridden before I don't get much practice or really any quality practice in. I work at Lithia Springs Marina on Lake Shelbyville, so if you guys are ever out on our lake and would want to pick up another person I'd probably be on the lake already and could just hop on right after work (and that'd pretty much make my summer complete)

Lake Decatur got 5 people on my boat crazy sick this past weekend, so i'll be hitting shelbyville up until later in the year when the water gets cold. Probably every weekend in fact. I'll let you know next time we get out there.
