My two buddy's both have liquid force witness boards, One board has 2008 byerly boa? bindings. The other has Liquid force 2009 shanes (the colorful ons).

The byerlys are wicked low profile and dont catch or drag on the water when doing a hard toeside cut. but they are falling apart since day 1 and weigh a ton.

The LF shanes are light as hell designed better but drag, any1 know of any binding made by LF that arent as huge as the shanes, they look like full on basket ball shoes

its mainly the board not the bindings that make the differnec in drag and how you edge and how deep they sink. on my ronix one the edge goes from a had flat adge to a large bevel then a smaller bevel in the middle, and that throws a lot of water up on my trailing foot, ive ridden a mana and ibex with my boots and the boards were similiar sizes, and snce they were both wider boardsssss with a hard edge all the way through never had any drag

huh good to know, i wouldnt really consider the 136 LF witness to be a really narrow board, just thought it was odd that with me using the same style of edging on both of them one would obviously drag the back foot and the other wouldnt
