i bought a 2008 hyperlite pulse and was wondering if it was a gppd board for a begginer? also, ive had a few people tell me i should take the fins off. is that a good or bad idea? |

Sure it is a good board!
As for the fins, you can ride with them on for a while if you've never rode before, but sooner or later you will want to take them off.
The fins will help the board track better if your new.

Fins are a personal preference thing, some people like them, some people don't. They'll help keep you straightened out and with your edging at first, but once you get more comfortable riding, see how you like it with them off and make your own decision. |
