Is a 2008 Hyperlite Pulse a good board?

Yes that is a good board and the board is not going to give you the pop you make the pop. If there was a specific board that gave the best pop then everyone would have it.

I think you can find some 2010 boards on closeout in the $200-250 price range. I think $200 for a used pulse is pretty high.
