Can you use a "Grind" wakeboard in a regular lake?

My friend got a 2011 Liquid Force Harley Grind.
But he will only use it for lake wakeboarding, no grinding at all.

He got a very good deal on it.

Is there any difference between the grind and non-grind versions?

Yes. The only major difference is the base and that's about it. It might be a little heavier than the normal board but thats ok.

its fine i have a limited 09 watson with the grind base for boat use only.. íts great. he'll be fine
