Hey guys,
In my 2nd year of wakeboarding, 1 year in boat owning. I have a 2001 Tige 2100v. As we've been riding more and more behind the boat, we've been trying to adjust rope lengths to get in the sweet spot of the wake, but still having issues.

At 70' we have plenty of rope to get out to the flats and start edging in, but the wake is real washed out.

At 60', you're in a very nice hard, firm spot of the wake, but in between the wake, your right on top of the prop wash.

At 65' we feel good with the length, not in the wash, but we are still just beyond the hard spot in the wake and hitting a rolled, washed off top of a wake.

I'm not running any ballast yet and the wake plate and or more people in the boat definitely increases the size of the wake, but does not help with moving where the wash starts.

Any suggestions or thoughts on how to move that washed out wake further back beyond 65' or in other words, get the wake at 65' to be the same at 60'?

We ride at about 19mph.

I'll try bumping to 20.5 on the PP and see how it looks.

Don't need anymore weight right now as we're honing the skills still. Either that or just fill the boat with more girls. Cool

yeah you're going wayyyyy too slow. when my friends and i first started we went about 19 too but once you ride more and get more confident/comfortable on the water then you'll have to go faster

And it's weird to say but going faster could help you get better too.. The faster you go the more firm the water will be. And for me at least it is easier to ride that way..

We'll have to try bumping it up this weekend. Maybe we'll test it first with no one on the rope, or maybe I can find a guinnea pig Laughing
