| I was wondering if anyone had built their own board rack before and if they have the schematics of how they did it. I have access to a metal shop, but just need to know what type of metal (size, shape etc.) and how to fasten the rack to a tower. If you have any pics, that would be great.

jmkshm, I have some ideas on how to make board racks but haven't finalized anything. I think basically I'm going into the shop on monday and I'll just go to it without plans... I'll post what I make.

| Nor*Cal, thanks... I am looking at various different pre-made ones trying to find out what the easiest thing would be. Let me know how yours goes.

I built one for a pylon see the pic, it is made out of UHMW polyethelen. Work pretty good very sturdy. I just used autocad with basic dimensions from my boards, and pylon. My woman hooked me up with some padding for it which isn't in the pic. It's a work in progress. Cost about $60 bucks.

My thought is some wide flat bar with tubing welded to it. Then cut a piece of tubing that will fit around the plyon in half and weld some angle down the sides of that. The angle will be drilled and that's where the bolts will go. I'll pad the tubing holding the boards and find some rubber or something to protect the pylon. At least that's the concept in my head.
