So not too big a deal,

I get pretty significant shoulder pain between my should blade and my spine (Post-run). on the side of my body that I hold the rope with. It feels to me like a nerve issue, which I relate to not having strong enough shoulder muscles to keep everything "in place" if I can get yanked hard during a landing. Went to the chiropractor and a couple of my thoracic veterbre were pulled to that side.

Does anyone know of a shoulder/back exercise that might reduce the problem?

Only ask because the pain is pretty big and resembles a pinched nerve.

Couldn't tell you exactly which exercises will target that particular issue, but I know my shoulder/back work pretty much consists of pullups (various grips), chinups, inverted rows, bent-over rows, overhead press, and handstand pushups. From what you described, it would seem to me that rows would help a lot. For inverted rows, find a bar of some sort around waist high and hang beneath it with your legs out. Make your body as straight as possible, and then raise your chest to the bar, squeezing your shoulder blades together at the top of the movement. This is a great back exercise, and you can make it harder simply by moving your legs up to a bench or some higher resting point to transfer more weight to your upper body. Hope this helps, and good luck recovering!

May want to get an MRI and see if you have any herniated disc or stenosis pinching on the nerves.

Steo one, go to a real doctor, not a chiropractor.
