|
|
Just ordered a pair of 2010 Ronix Ones this spring. Due to various circumstances they still havent seen the water. I just tried them on for fit and they are tight, very tight. Wear size 10.
The 2008 Watsons I had fit true but this does not seme to be the case with the 2010 Ronix One's. Anyone else have this issue. After wearing them will the loosen up much?
The length of the boot is fine, more so the width. I can barely get them off in the living room so I am concerned it will be a real struggle to get them off in the water. |

If you are worried about getting them off, just take a little dish soap out when on your next ride. When you try and get out of them, just squeeze a little in by your ankle and you'll slide out. |

Yes I had read that, and will try it. More concerned they wont loosen enough and will not be comfortable.
Just heard from a friend who wears Size 8.5 shoe and he wears a size 10 2010 Ronix One. |

I've seen a chart that shows what size of each brand of bindings you'd be, depending on your shoe size. I can't find it again! Anyone? I seem to remember it saying that Ronix boots run small. _________________ rally to the wake |

I ride a 2010 Ronix One board and bindings. I wear a size 11.5-12 shoe, and fit perfectly into the size 12 binding. I'd recommend against using dish soap and use binding lube so that it doesn't deteriorate the fabric of the bindings, it'll also wash away sooner than what the dish soap will.
I get my boots off in the water by just loosening up the locks, and just wiggling my left foot out, and then putting my left foot in the middle of the board and using it to leverage the board to get my right foot out.
I don't have any issues at all |

I wear a size 10 shoe and use size 10 Ronix ONEs. My feet aren't wide so i can't comment there but the ONEs are the only boot that I tried on that didn't feel to snugh. Getting in and out of them takes some getting used to, just make sure you loosen the laces near the toe. |

I wear size 9 shoes and size 9 boots fit perfect. They do stretch out a bit after a couple rides too. Did you heat mold them yet? _________________ 2010 Watson Hybrid

No I havent heat molded them yet as I am still considering putting them up for sale as new and worried some may consider them used if heat molded.
If I heat mold them I was told to put two pairs of socks on in hopes of making a larger space for my foot.
Would expect they will fit better once molded. To be honest they do not feel no where as nice as my 2008 Watsons I had or the 2010 Watsons I sold. I was expecting much more comfortable boot based on reviews. I can only find 2010 Ones in Size 11 in White right now so still on the fence as to what to do.
Thoughts? |

| To make matters worse, the right boot fits much better than the left one. To the point I had to measure them both to make sure they didn't send two different sizes. |

| I wear a 12.5/13 and got a size 12. I put on the 13/14 and yes, they were amazingly comfortable, but with the 12s I have absolute control over everything, and have no problem getting them on or off. |

| Same as skates, hold them over the kettle when boiling and but your foot in, make sure its not too hot. Or take them to a Ronix dealer that has a machine that essentially does the same thing. |
