|
|
My g/f's black board shorts for some ungodly reason bled onto my seats even after being washed a few times since new. Only thing I think of that could of caused it was her tanning oil she rubbed on prior to leaving earlier in the day got onto the seat. She claimed it doesn't remain oily after it was on for a white, I was still skeptical and am now left with my bottom seat a hazzy blue/black color. I'm not happy one bit, but remained calm so she wouldn't feel depressed over it.
I've tried using my normal cleaner, mr clean magic eraser, simple green, soap and water, Spray nine, and its still there.. maybe a little less apparent but its dark and I cannot tell if any has come out.
Right now I have a wet microfiber towel and more vinyl cleaner protectant just laid over top of it and am going to leave it there over night to hopefully draw the rest of it out.
Any other ideas? I know enough to not use straight bleach but am wondering about the Bleach white for white wall tires? I was thinking maybe use it on a Q-tip in small areas to control it. _________________ 2010 Glastron GT 205XL ( Volvo 4.3L GL-J)

Embarrased to say I did this to a friend's boat wearing a new piece of clothing. Tried quite a bit of stuff to no avail. The solution was to let Mother Nature do her thing. The sun bleached it out. _________________ 2018 MasterCraft XT20 |

This. Leave it out i the sun for awhile and the stain will disappear. _________________ wakeboards

I took a look at it yesterday before I went to work last night, in the sun it looks like the stain is gone, but in the shade I can still see a slight hint of blue. I guess one of the processes I did removed a bit of the stain. Think I am going to enforce a new rule that if you are wearing sun screen, your ass is going to be sitting on your own towel till that stuff dries and NO TANNING OILS/ or aerosol can types... lol. _________________ 2010 Glastron GT 205XL ( Volvo 4.3L GL-J)

We need to see a picture of her in her bathing suit to decide what your best solution will be. You know, for research and stuff.
You've done all you can, now let the sun do it's thing. My wife's black bikini did the same thing. It came out after a few trips in the sun. |

LOl... I'm not going to dump her over a seat, that would be childish. At 25yrs old I think I've finally matured enough to be an adult. Yes I was a little upset but its just a seat, its going to get used, life goes on, and everything isn't going to remain looking brand new forever. I got it to look better, mother nature will take care of the rest. I suppose I can put a couple simple photos up...
Her and I a couple weeks back..
Don't have any of her in her board shorts, but they were a pair of black/pink/white Billabong ones we got at Ron Jon surf shop on our vacation back in March. _________________ 2010 Glastron GT 205XL ( Volvo 4.3L GL-J)

Cute and knows how to have a sense of humor, yeah i'd say keep'er.
I meant to post earlier, don't use white wall bleach or whatever that crap is!! It will dry out your seams like you can't imagine. I use that stuff on my white walls on my bike, and I'd hate to see what it would do to soft vinyl. |

I'm only in the top picture, the other 2 guys in the last 2 are friends... but yes, she's a head volleyball coach at the local college, still plays on a national team. But yes, she is in better shape than I am and eats everything in sight. Damn her high metabolism.
Regrettably I use to be a 315lb fat kid in high school until I realized a few things and changed my lifestyle. As much as I have tried, I won't ever get abs like her. I'm 6'3" and hover around 200lbs, I'm happy and healthy and we have a great time together, so thats all that matters to us.... Plus she wakeboards ( well, tries to at least. Need to get her a smaller board than my community 142. Its too much board for her) _________________ 2010 Glastron GT 205XL ( Volvo 4.3L GL-J)
