Hey, I noticed a lot of posts about sanger's having a really awesome wake.
How much do they cost?
Anybody have a wake pic?
How do they compare to the big 3 in how they are finished?
Thanks for any input, I searched the site but didnt find exactly what i was looking for.

That wake is insane. even with my X-10 fully loaded with ballast and people it doesn't throw a wake like that.

Being the one that snapped the pic., I assure you that wake has not been photoshopped....I don't even own the program, much less, know how to use it. To do a job like that, I would have to be a master at it....
I'll dig up some more pics. of the wake...

Skyplane: You are talking about the version about that pic. that a guy that goes by Salmon Tacos photoshopped. I have the original pic. on a print if you'd like to see it in person?? Photoshopped, my arse.....
i36hperlite: There was about 2000#, give or take a few pounds, in that boat, plus 6 people that day. They have the standard Merc. Carb. 350 in the boat...270 hp. I think?? They got the boat with just the basics, no bells and whistles, for like 31k I think?? It's an 01', so I'm sure the newer version is a bit more expensive???

$36k with reasonable options, 40k fully loaded. Semperspeed is the most well represented dealer I have come across. Ask for Mark.
Available with a 315hp or 330hp Merc motor. Against common sense the bigger motor has a flatter sun pad where the 315 has a full hump front to back like a blown vette, kinda funky looking but about 2k cheaper.

It's off BoatPoint.com, a boat at Semperspeed, they are located at Madera, CA. I presume it's taken there.

Sangers are great boats. The interior finish is clean and put together well. It has a lot of room for storage, gear and people. The wake is good without ballast and scary when you ad a few sacs to it. The boat also handles rough water well.
Ralph, you will enjoy the boat. I bought mine from Semper Speed last year. That picture was taken at his shop in Madera, Ca.

Captain: you guys will have to get a pull behind my VLX sometime. 2600lbs of water + the wedge = big wake

Also, V210's are great boats for the price. They are just as good as a MC/Malibu/CC in my opinion. Awsome wakes and a great interior. I looked at the v210 and v230 - can't go wrong with a Sanger.

wakehype,
I would like to get a pull behind it sometime. Where do you usually ride and have I seen you around there before. Did you used to have a Centerion?
My sanger wake is all I can handle for quite awhile, in my opinion, having to big of a wake before you learn the proper skills can hender your progress i nthe sport
What is your skill level behind such a weighted down boat?

captain, the wake will just takes some getting used to. if you know how to clear the wake consistently, then you should still be able to do so on a boat such as wakehype's. you may need a few jumps to get used to the difference in wake size and shape and after that you should be good to go.

scott a,
I don't think you understood my point. I am not afraid or leary of big wakes. I put 1500 pounds worth of sacs in my boat and loaded with people the wake is huge. I can handle it fine.
My point was to Wakehype, that if he is the person that I gave a pull to one time, that learning skills before you weight you boat down will help him progress faster. I might have him mistaken for someone else.
I would like the chance to ride behind his boat but I don't really need more wake, if in fact it is bigger, the thing that is holding back my progression is time on the water and skills

ohhhhhhhhhhhhh ok sorry.
yeah i see what your saying and you do have a very valid point. if you have a huge wake you will never try to learn to load the line cuz you can still get tons of air no matter what.
