alot lol, but you can get some good deals on used stuf normally if you look on ebay or craigslist, depends on what type of boarding your looking to do, if your just looking for a little cruising not trying any flips or spins or tricks, then you can get a cheaper board and boot combo

Assuming you have a boat:

Board: $300
Bindings: $200
Wakeboard rope and handle: $100
Vest: $50

Medical expenses: $$$

That is what I usually pay for stuff usually on closeout. If you went with a brand new, pro model setup you could pay $900 for board and bindings, $200 for rope/handle and $130 for a vest. But that just seems ridiculous to me.

Check out http://www.wakeboards.us/ they have some solid deals on there. You will be looking at around $300-500 to get started. It all depends on what you get.

I don't think I've ever bought the current years model equipment, except for my Burton Snowboard but it was an end of the year clearance this spring. I have bought all my board from Evo..

http://www.evo.com/outlet-shop/wake.aspx

I love outlet shopping through them for everything.
