Okay, so this summer I plan on trying whatever this trick is (if it is a trick):
I go into the wake heelside and then do a front flip (similar to one you do on a trampoline; I would nearly go goofy when launched off the wake) with a 180. I am not sure what it is, but here is a video of it on a trampoline lol:

I don't know if you can see it very well, but that is pretty much it.
P.S. my practice rope/handle is actually a dog leash with a pipe lol, but it works haha.
Thanks! |

you're splitting it into two different bounces on the trampoline, you hop to a switch toe edge and then do a front flip with a backside 180. As it stands you'd just be doing a switch tootsie roll without the handle pass. If you were to do it all in one bounce it'd be a heelside front mobe, unless you were doing a flat 180 first and then rolling it over. With the flat 180 it'd be some kind of weird rodeo type flip similar to when Greenwood and Watson do their rodeo flips, but minus the ole and the direction you'd be flipping.
I'd work on trying to get that first 180 with rolling it over into the flip in one bounce before attempting to take it to the water, otherwise it's going to be really difficult to understand how the mechanics of it work while you take the beating on the water. |

Fixed the issue with two separate moves. I have it in one bounce now (without switching stances). Feels a lot more comfortable now.
Thanks for the tips. Hope to try this later this summer. |

| It's called a slim chance, and is a lot harder on the water than it is on the trampoline. I've tried a few behind the boat and have landed without the handle and have landed it from the cheese wedge at OWC. Fun trick, but tougher than it seems. |

| Looks like a pretty sweet trick. I might have to give that a whirl. |

Yeah the first trick is kind of like a tootsie roll when you switch your stance right before you jump to toeside (toeside front, backside 180), but like holdsworth said if you just start heelside it would be a slim chance.
To make it easier, you may want to practice the tootsie roll part of it with the handle pass early in your rotation, because that it basically how you have to do it when actually riding. So basically jump and on your way up pass the handle, and you will sort of "unwrap" on your way down if that makes any sense. Then you can just do the same thing starting from your heels and you will have the slim chance. It would be extremely difficult to land wrapped like that in actual riding. |

Yeah, I will probably try both tricks this summer. I will definitely be practicing landing wrapped and all that before as well.
I have never tried any type of invert other than a front roll so I am really excited to try something different. |
