|
|
| I had pretty much made up my mind on getting the 2010 cell bindings until I saw the franks. The $100 differnce caught my eye, but I do know that if the more expensive product is a lot better then it's worth the extra $100. I was just wanting some reviews from anyone who rides the Franks or has any experiences with them. Thanks |

Well, I don't have any experience with these bindings, but the difference is supposed to be feel rather than quality. The Cells are made to be the stiffest boots in the Ronix line, while the Franks are based on the softer One boot. I don't think the Cells are "better." They're just different. What's your preference? _________________ rally to the wake |

| Well I am currently on hyperlite 3ds bindings which are pretty stiff...I feel like I would be better with something a little softer but I am nervous about purchasing them without riding on them first |

Ya, riding them before you buy is ideal. If you can't do that, at least make sure you put your foot in them. That's absolutely crucial. Try to find a shop that is selling them even if they won't let you take 'em out for a demo.
When I was trying on bindings for my new Harley board, I found that nearly all were very uncomfortable for me because my foot is a bit of a weird size/shape. I also noticed that they felt different under load on the water than dry in the shop. _________________ rally to the wake |

I bought the 09 version of these for my community board because it fit a broad range of common male foot sizes (10.5-13.5). I haven't ridden them so i can't say how they feel. I can only say that they've held up well over the past year, this is their second season. From the guys that have bigger feet, they say they can feel tight - then again they have canoes for feet - one is size 14 and one is 13 and has wide feet. They both say they're tight.

I had the 09 Cells (basiclly the same) and they are excellent. After breaking them in they do soften up a bit too. I would highly recommend them. _________________ 2010 Watson Hybrid
