|
|
So I have been riding for 8 years now never owned my own board always just rode whatever my buds had but I bought a Wakeboard boat this year so I must get a board. So my q is that I am 5'9 178 and advanced on a board but my girl is 5'6 about 120 she is a beginner but shreds it up on a snowboard, she surprised me with a Hyperlite forefront 134 thinking it would work for both of us but the weight rating is to 165. I know it will be goo for her but Am I going to be alright on this board? |

you'll be able to ride the 134 but I would recommend something a bit bigger - perhaps a 137 - my wife rides the LF PS3 - she enjoys it |

you're going to want a board bigger than 134. Especially because you've been riding so long. i'm about to upgrade from a 134 that ive had for 5 years now. 137-141 should be your range _________________ '06 LF Substance, Soon to be a 2011 Watson Classic!

but its definately ok for you to ride this board, if that's what you're asking. You're not going to break it or anything just because you're over 165 _________________ '06 LF Substance, Soon to be a 2011 Watson Classic!

You'll be ok riding it, but it will ride low in the water and seem sluggish. I normally ride a 141+, pulled a few sets with my brothers 136, struggled to get it out of the water, couldn't time my pop at the wake at all. Felt like the board kept wanting to sink, had my driver speed up a little and it was better. Still not as good as a proper sized board. _________________
