I've been riding the LF watsons the last couple years and overall like them. My summer pair are starting to get beat up and it's time for a new pair of bindings. I wanted a bit less stiff of a binding (I used to ride LF ultras back in the day and loved them).

Can anyone comment on which of the above bindings would push me in the right direction as compared to my current LF watsons?

Also, I currently ride 9-10 for my LF watsons, what would that be in ronix sizing? a 9? a 10? TIA

If you want less stiff don't go for the Cells... They're one of the stiffest boots i've ever put my feet in.

I had a pair of Watson that i really liked but it's been more than 2 years that i have my Ronix Ones and love them, i could say they're pretty similar to the watson but a bit lower so that gives you a little more freedom for the pokes and tweaks.

For the shanes, never tried them... i can't help.
For the size if you normaly wear 10 go 10. If you're more 9,5 go 9 and heat mold that would be my best advice.

That's a great help already. And judging from the reviews I read on wakeworld, everyone raved about how super supportive the cells were, which I took to meant stiff. This confirms that suspicion. But the ones you feel like might still be in my ballpark.

Im curious since you've ridden the ronix ones for 2 years, what year model do you have and how hard do you ride (ie how many times per week)? And how have they held up. I heard one person say theirs didn't hold up well at all, but was curious what your impression was since you've had them for 2 years. If you're a pretty hard rider that's all the proof i'd need.

I ride my 2011 one's about 3x weekly on cable, so they go on and off a lot. Been riding them since september, and They still are very supportive and in great shape. I don't know how, but I'm still rocking the original laces and locks too. By far the best boot on the market, is definitely worth the premium price you pay. I'd put my skill level at advanced, a few mobes and 7's on the cable, and I do 5's and 8 or 9 inverts on boat.

dangit, no else responded and i was worried about getting the sizing right so i ended up getting the shanes. I'll have to give ronix a run for my next boot. Had a sh*t night riding tonight too wasn't really feeling anything. I hate nights like that.
