X45 Piggy Back ballast

I have purchased 2 v drive sacs and the rear piggy back ballast upgrade from wakemakers. Should be coming in this week. I want to think about doin the same thing for the front. Wanted to see if anyone has done this and the pro's and con's of doing it (i.e drain/fill time)

a buddy and I built in our own piggy back system into our X-star last summer. The way it's set up to logically work, the front sacs take a ton of time to fill because the center tank is just a beast to fill/overfill. It was actually faster when we were filling the front ballast with the plug in pump. We've talked about tossing another jabsco in there to feed the center tank quicker, but haven't really gone anywhere with it just yet.

It's nice to click the buttons and not have to do anything, but I kind of worry that running the pumps that long will put too much stress on them.

Ya that is what I was thinking. Do you have two sacks up off the center sac? you got a diagram of how you lined it in. The way i was told to do it was take the overflow from the kgb and run it to a T. Then run the T to the left sac and to the right sac. Then hook the overflow from the right sac to the original vent.

that's essentially what we did, tee'd off from the kgb overflow to the front two sacs (under the seats), and then connected the sac opposite the overflow to the overflow side sac with an out to the overflow. We did have to drill some holes (a hole? can't remember atm) to be able to get the hoses to fit under the floors.

I can't remember if we had issues with draining or not, I know for sure the back sacs drain no problem, but I remember worrying about the front sacs.
