hey fellow riders,
thinking of moving to boise next year sometime, and want to know what the wakeboarding scene is like. Grew up a few hours away from there, but it's been years so anybody I used to know or ride with I'd have to look up again, if they're even still riding.
So what's good? Who rides in the boise area, where do you ride, who do you ride with, what kinda boat you ride, what tricks in your bag? How easy for non-boat owners to get a pull?
I've been riding for over 10 years, have inverts, spins, etc. but not at a pro level by any means. These days I ride for the pure enjoyment of being on the water, I have no idea what's going on in the "pro" or contest level.
I'm a damn good driver, usually do better than the perfect pass, can drive and back a trailer...etc. etc. |

your welcome to come with us any time. i have a 21' bayliner with 1500#'s of ballast, wake is comparable to an x star. we are intermediate riders (w2w hs and ts, starting to pull 3's, and attempting inverts) and would love someone who knows more stuff to push us along. since it is an i/0, gas is usually cheaper than a v-drive (usually charge 10-15 per person. i have a tower, nice system with tower speakers you can hear while riding. over the winter i am adding perfect pass, a high 5 prop, extended swim platform, and possibly a prop guard for surfing. i am in the process of re-building the seating to have the seating arrangement that matches v-drives. if you want to hang out before the season, we usually throw party's twice a month and you are welcome to come hang out and meet the crew. just shoot me a pm. _________________ trying to find a $5-7K usable saltare if anyone knows of one. |

Well, I know this thread is old, but I just finally signed up for the site. First post actually.
So I'll let the local crew know a bit about me - moved down last year from Spokane, where we were 15 minutes from my house to launch. Sold the boat as I had been too busy for the past few years to even get out. Ridden for a couple years, but never had the time to really progress much.
Have a good friend with Mastercraft Maristar, pre-x series, which we load up with about 700#. Typically go out thursday afternoons to lucky peak - in fact - we're going today, NOV 4th Water temp 2 weeks ago was in the high 50's, i'm expecting low 50's this week, and thank goodness for wetsuits. |

headin out tomorow if you want a pull let me know. water should be lower 50's, and air will be in the 80's. should be nice and smooth. _________________ trying to find a $5-7K usable saltare if anyone knows of one. |
