Took a few sets this weekend with my friends Daniel Walden and Chris Moon behind my 2011 Axis A22. We had factory full + wedge + plug n play front bag and two 1000lb plug n play surf bags full in the rear. The wake was the best I've ever ridden. I'm still shaking off my winter rust, but it was tons of fun!

Here's a funny one of me getting bucked out to the side a bid on a w2w. Got to stand tall! Luckily, my feet came back under me for the landing!

| Ahhhhh. Gotcha. I assumed by "setup" you meant the same boat/ballast configuration. Hahaha. Love that SAN 210 wake too btw.

First off that is sick. Am i the only one who feels that with most boats it seems like after a certain amount of ballast the wake doesn't get much better? Like if you added another 1000 lbs it would still be similar?

| In my experience, most wakes max out and if you add more weight, they become washy, the boat porpoises, the wake becomes too lippy, etc. However, I can say with all honesty that I have not yet had those problems with the A22. We've ridden with this same setup with an additional 1000lb bow sac in the front and six more people in the cabin and the wake was even bigger. However, that burns some serious gas, and I just dont need to ride a tsunami like that all the time. With the boat weighted like in these pictures, it planed off and got to speed in about 10-15 seconds and did not porpoise.

5th picture on the first post...the rollers headed towards those slips / docks are crazy. Ever get any complaints from those folks?

| Okie Boarder, Nah. We call that stretch "old one pass slew" because every house has these ginormous seawalls and the rollers just bounce back and forth. There's no erosion, and most people's boats are on lifts. Also, several of my friends' have houses/docks in that slew and the neighbors are pretty cool. We never ride in there when the water's high enough to mess up anything (all of the docks are stationary). In 6 years, we've not had a single person hail us to complain about waves. We have had some request that we not play music so loud after dark, though, and we respect that.

Chatt, Looks good man! I think we are gonna bring ours down to Chatanooga/Dalton area this summer so if we do, we'll need to give ya a yell and ride. Granted I'm nowhere near your level of riding, I still get out there and try to ride decent lol

looks like my kind of wake. long and rampy.
doesnt look vertical or peaky at all. very consistant pop.
money in my book.
do you think the rear 1000lbs are able to fill to full capacity?
looks perfect bro.

| The 1000lb sacs fill about 80%. I would describe the wake as being somewhat rampy, but transitioning into a nice peaky wake about 3/4 the way up. This is what sets the A22 wake apart from the VLX or LSV wake. The wake is not so concave that it rolls when lots and lots of extra weight is added. You can slow the boat down to 21mph and the wake still retains its clean shape.

Looks nice! I'm liking my stock wake a lot, but these pictures make me really tempted to add some more weight.
I haven't even thought about putting ours on the water yet. Hopefully the ice is gone soon.

| I blew my acl, lateral and medial meniscus in my right knee back in like '05 and I got a Don Joy Defiance III brace that I still wear through insurance. Not sure how much it helps, but I wear it most of the time when I remember to bring it.

Thanks. Does it move around at all or stay put. Also does it bother you at all when riding. Im Going to go get fitted for CTI Custom today so thats why I asked.

| It doesn't bother me while riding. It stays in place well until a fall. The velcro straps come undone from time to time. I put snaps on the ends of my straps and they still come undone occasionally.

| mseller, Do your velcro straps come loose when you fall? Maybe they changed something since I got mine. If so, I need to get new straps.

very rarely...the only problem i'd say is the 2nd one from the bottom when I try and tighten that too much and the velcro is only half on...i'd like a way to shorten the straps
