newbie wakeboarder light built 5'5 help me choose what board

hi guys im 5'5 light built body and a beginner

is the liquid force rogue 139 fit for me? or you guys can suggest other liquid force boards only liquid force boards are available here in my country.

i will be using it in a cable park.

in my opinion, worry about the bindings more than the size of the board. Of course you don't want a 129 or anything, but 134+ should be fine. These guys should be able to tell you what boards will give you better pop and what not, but the bindings need to fit good and it will make a world of difference when you ride more so than the board for beginners i think.

the grind series have a base that is structurally designed better to handle the wear and tear of hitting obstacles. That's not to say that grind bases cannot be used for regular boat riding, but the technology was developed for a different purpose. You may be able to find a board that will be higher end for the same price without the grind base. Perhaps your money might be better spent on a board without a grind base that might have different fin options.

I have a 2009 trip... I enjoy it. I also have closed toe bindings, I would never go back to open toe.

For a beginner I would go with the continuous rocker. Its more predictable than the 3 stage.

A "predictable" wakeboard has a continuous rocker because:

1. Continuous rocker. The rocker has a smooth curve that is shaped like this

on the bottom. Each time you hit a wake for a trick, you have a pretty good idea what type of height (pop) you're going to get up into the air.

2. 3-stage rocker. The rocker is shaped like this:

The thinking is that it takes some practice and experience to know how to jump and time your technique when hitting the wake to get maximum pop off of the wake. If you aren't very good at that, your pop off of the wake will vary greatly from jump to jump.

The Trip is one of the most user friendly, easy to ride boards available. You will progress well with that board.

The Index bindings are just fine for a new rider. Just make sure you get them in a size that fits you. You want them a little snug but definitely not tight. They'll break in as you wear them. Bindings that are too small inevitably result in foot cramps, pain, and shortened sets.

If you're weighing in around the 130 lb mark, you'd probably do better with the 134, but you could just as easily ride the 138 if you prefer.

if by "getting onto" you mean starting/standing up i don't think either rocker would effect that. like pet575 said, it will change how the board pops, and from what i have read, change out aggressive you have to use the edges when turning. the 3-stage is also said to be more difficult when you land and be less forgiving. all in all for a new rider the continuous rocker would be the way to go so... the LF Trip 134 or 138 and make sure the bindings fit snug but not uncomfortably tight.

how bout in riding and turning which is more stable? ill be using it in a cable park. so im really considering the grind base and at the same time stable and easy to learn ride.

Rogue 139 = mellow 3 stage rocker vs Trip 138 = continous rocker

finally pulled the trigger and got myself the 2011 PS3 133cm with Domain bindings. the guy at the shop suggested this size for me because the next size is 137. do you think i have made the right choice for this 133 sized board. i am lightweight 130lbs and 5'5

the manual says that the 133 is fit for 80 - 170lbs

i have a question regarding my open toe domain bindings. the size is 8 - 12 inches my foot is 9"

i donnt know if it is the right fit because my toe fingers dont reach the end but when i push my toe fingers to the end theres some space in the back.

what do you think guys?
